Mark has been involved in criminal defence work for many years having qualified in 1993 as a non-practising barrister, he converted to be a solicitor in 2000. Mark is regularly instructed in Magistrates’ and Crown Court cases.
Working mostly in the Magistrates Court dealing with motoring issues, such as Drink and Drug drive cases and failing to provide breath specimens at the police station.
Mark has recently deal with a case of failing to provided were a client was unfit to provide a specimen of breath and have to apply the test in Young v DPP (1992) and the DPP v Camp (2017) where the client was successfully represented.
Mark has experience with driver hours issues, and Armed Forces drivers rule under JSP 800
Mark is a keen shooter and knowledge with firearms a member of the UK Clay Pigeon Shooting Association and an active shooter since his teens, A voluntary youth worker in north London, an outdoor enthusiast being a member of the Mountain Training Association, and a Tutor for the National Navigation Award
