-Chambers & Partners

Hannah Giles started her career in Criminal Law following successfully completing the Bar Vocational Course in 2008. Hannah subsequently cross-qualified to become a Solicitor, and undertook her Higher Rights of Audience to become a Solicitor Advocate. Hannah is now Head of our Criminal Defence Team in the Woking Office.

Hannah Giles provides advice and representation on all motoring offences including speeding, the avoidance of disqualification on penalty points or “totting up” (exceptional hardship), driving without due care and attention (careless driving), dangerous driving, drink driving and drug driving. Hannah Giles has successfully defended motoring prosecutions and persuaded the courts not to endorse penalty points or to impose disqualification upon her clients.

Hannah has an excellent track record in helping people retain their driving licence. Even in cases where a disqualification is mandatory, she can assist in reducing the length of time spent disqualified which means clients can be driving again several months earlier than they would have otherwise.

Hannah is tenacious in all aspects of her work and prides herself in offering a first-class service to her clients. It is her aim to fight her client’s corner to deliver the best possible outcome in their case.
